1 head Red Cabbage, shredded/julienned
½ cup Cranberries
2 shallots, thinly sliced
¼ tsp cloves
¼ tsp cinnamon
½ cup Red Wine Vinegar
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup Water
Salt and pepper to taste
- In a non-stick pot, lightly coated with oil, sauté the cabbage, shallots, cranberries, and spices for 2 minutes.
- Add the vinegar, water and brown sugar and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir occasionally for about 30 minutes.
- Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper.
