OUR FAVORITE LONDON BUSINESS HOTEL.

London is arguably the center of international business and many travelers tend to find themselves in this truly cosmopolitan city for meetings, conventions, and expositions more than anywhere else in the world. Fortunately, finding the right accommodations for business travel in London does not need to be hard work!

Our newest favorite for business accommodations in London is the Crowne Plaza hotel, situated in Kensington. After the exhaustion of an overseas flight, the last thing any busy traveler wants is a draining commute from the airport to their hotel. The London Underground, commonly known as the “Tube,” conveniently connects Heathrow airport to central city in 30 minutes via the Piccadilly Line. For around $7 USD, one can travel nonstop from International Terminal 5 to Gloucester Road, where the Crowne Plaza Kensington is steps away.

Managed by the well-respected InterContinental Hotel Group, the 4-star Crowne Plaza Kensington has recently been redone and now offers unbelievable value, comfort, and convenience in a city known for sky-high prices, suffocating spaces, and dreadful congestion. We were so pleasantly surprised by the size and affordability of the Crowne Plaza’s rooms. One of our favorite options for business travelers is the split-level room, featuring two floors and including a downstairs meeting area… perfect for small groups.

Amenities-wise, the Crowne Plaza offers a variety of options for on-the-go business travelers, including an exclusive executive Club Lounge and a relaxing garden. There is also a well-equipped Fitness Center just off the ground floor containing multiple cardio machines, free weights, and yoga gear to energize your day. Finally, the all-day restaurant Umami offers a comprehensive selection of delicious Asian cuisine.

The Crowne Plaza Kensington is located in West London, long known for its world-class shopping, dining, parks, and entertainment. Within minutes, one can walk to places such as Hyde Park, Harrods, and the Royal Albert Hall. A quick trip on the tube will get you to the trends of East London, the arts of SoHo, the charm of Notting Hill, and the class of Mayfair. So, next time you find yourself in London on business, check it out!
