N˚1 IN OUR ST. REGIS COCKTAIL SERIES.
Brought to you by our favorite bartenders at the St. Regis Punta Mita in Mexico! Everyone loves a good mint julep, but these end-of-summer months call for something a little lighter and more refreshing! Made with vodka, basil and cucumber instead of the traditional mint and whiskey, this beach “julep” is as refreshing as they come. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
1 dash club soda
1 oz simple syrup
1 ½ oz vodka
1 fresh lime wedge
3 cucumber slices
4 basil leaves
Ice
PREPARATION
1. Add the soda water and simple syrup to a shaker.
2. Add in the cucumber slices, lime and basil and muddle lightly.
3. Add in the vodka.
4. Shake vigorously and strain into a mason jar.
5. Garnish with fresh basil and lime.
