The Rib Room, located in London’s posh Knightsbridge section at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel, is a true English classic. Opening in 1961, The Rib Room has enjoyed decades of success by sticking to what it does best: elevated British fare with an emphasis on top-quality meats, seasonal produce, stiff cocktails, and painstakingly attentive service. Times change, however, and classic establishments must roll with the changes in order to stay on top. Luckily for us, The Rib Room has done just that.
A 2011 refurbishment of The Rib Room updated the dining room without removing loved items like the exquisite Feliks Topolski art collection, the after-dinner cart service, and the extensive cigar selection. Today, The Rib Room maintains its classic appeal whilst catering to a new generation with “old souls.” Certain contemporary elements, such as the delicious “Seasonally Modern” menu, the iPad wine list, the smoking terrace, the “Blooming Brilliance” pop-up bar, all suggest a new (and appropriate) direction. The updated classic blends old-school charm with current trends perfectly.
Our newest obsession is their summer Pop-Up bar, Blooming Brilliance. Located at the entrance to The Rib Room, and filled to the brim with ferns and flowers, Blooming Brilliance is a classic cocktail bar focusing on beautiful botanical elements. Fresh cocktails feature herbs, floral infusions and fresh fruit and, from our experience, are delicious and addictive! Open for the summer, Blooming Brilliance is a must-try.

Our experience at The Rib Room was a beautiful evening that seamlessly blended our love of a great classic with unique and seasonal experiences. Centrally located and accessible, this is one of our newest favorites in London. Additionally, well-appointed private rooms are perfect for business and international travelers alike.
