A group of people preparing food in a restaurant

One of our absolute favorite hotels is the Rosewood Mansion at Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. With gorgeous & chic Southern décor, live music and delicious hand-crafted cocktails, The Mansion Bar gets our vote for one of the coziest bars in America. On our last visit, we sampled a variety of their house specialties and managed to wheedle the recipes out of the hotel just for you!

This variation on a classic cocktail is one of our favorite ways to serve a G&T. A Mansion staple, the Gin & Tonic is made with Junipero gin, house-made tonic, a Kaffir lime leaf & grapefruit zest and delicately poured over ice. Richer and more potent than your average Gin & Tonic, this one is layered with intense flavors…but is still as refreshing as it is drinkable!

INGREDIENTS

2 oz. Junipero Gin

¾ oz. House Tonic (but we love Fever Tree!)

Dash Angostura Bitters

2 oz. club soda

Grapefruit zest

Kaffir Lime Leaf

PREPARATION

1. Add the Gin, House Tonic, and Bitters to a stemless burgundy glass with large ice cubes.

2. Stir until combined

3. Top with club soda

4. Garnish with Grapefruit zest, and Kaffir Lime Leaf
